The Foundation’s science team have developed and released a special science communiqué outlining insights and key messages from this year’s Science Forum.
Reef scientists, supported by the Great Barrier Reef Foundation, met in Brisbane on 4-5 August to discuss the latest scientific evidence on the resilience of the Great Barrier Reef to the impacts of climate change and other pressures.
With representatives from nine research institutions throughout Australia, the Forum was a productive collaboration and sharing of insights. As well as presenting their latest research, the scientists worked in small groups to identify common themes; opportunities for collaboration and innovation; and determine the next big challenges that need to be solved by science.
