More than 1400 people of all ages got hands on with Reef citizen science at ReefBlitz 2015 in Townsville, recording 616 observations of 226 different species across the two day event.

Two hundred and eleven school students took part in the education-focussed component of ReefBlitz while the inaugural corporate team challenge event on Magnetic Island gathered an impressive tally of data. Information about 153 different species emerged from the corporate teams' 303 observations on the biodiversity surveys.
